As this is my first ever post on my blog, I’d like to start by saying a huge thank you to my amazing and tallented friend, Darren, who has spent much of his summer break from uni creating this site for me. Thanks, Daz!

I’m Nicola and in 12 days I will be flying to South Africa for nearly 6 months. This site is a way for me to keep in touch with everyone and hopefully tell you about my extraordinary and life changing journey. Please feel free to comment – I can’t wait to log in and find lots of people writing on my site! [Maybe that's sad?]
