Thanks for dropping into this little corner of my site. This is the place to get away from your crazy day, put on some relaxing music and light an E candle or two. Welcome to my prayer corner!
I hope to have a trans ocean prayer army, a community of friends who can write their prayer requests here secure in the knowledge that other people will pray for them. So please feel free to add yours. I promise that I, all the way in South Africa, will be thinking and praying for you guys and I know you will all be doing the same for me.
So together, I hope we God will hear all these requests from all corners of anywhere!
God Bless you.
I would like the first prayer request to be for Chris, Hatty, Beth and Bethan, as they too prepare for this amazing adventure in South Africa. I pray they are able to do all they need to do before we leave on Monday and that God stays close to all of them the whole time.

Okay, so a lot of you know me as the very cool and very masculine tough guy. Others of you know me as your hero. Well it may surprise you to learn that I have somewhat of a tender spot. It may even surprise you to learn that we cool, masculine, tough guy heroes are capable of … Love. Aaaaah! Isn’t that lovely I hear you say. Well it’s true. I’m in love. (Forgot to warn you fainters what to expect in this entry). Anyway, cut a long story short. I’m totally crazy about Nic, and I’m pretty sure she is about me to. I would really appreciate any prayers for us. Maybe that we would still be the same when she gets back. Thank you.

Lord want to lift Vicki to you as she is back in hospital this week for more tests. Please guide the doctors to the right answers so that they may be able to help her. Be with her father at this time and may she know she is never alone, because you are with her.

I pray for all our families back home, that they all know God’s peace and feel secure in the knowledge that he is doing an amazing job of looking after us all here in Joburg. Lord I pray that everyone we love will know how special they are to us even if we can’t tell them as oftern as we want to.

I pray Lord you will be with Graham and Nicola as they continue to search for a house here in Johannesburg. Give them the strength and encouragement, and help them to feel settled and find somewhere to call home.

I ask God to be with all the volunteers as they prepare for their campaign next week on HIV and TB. Lord give them the words to say and the confidence to go into people’s houses and talk to them. Keep them safe. Thank you Lord for their enhusiasm and willingness to serve.

Father, I pray for Colin, that your healing hand would be upon him, that you would give him, his family and friends strength and that they can look to you during this time. I pray he will recover quickly through your help and that he will soon be able to return home.
